This workshop is an introduction to American Sign Language, the third mostly widely used language in the United States. The primary objective of this workshop is to develop communicative competence to enable you to perform the following language functions: introductions, exchanging personal information, talking about surroundings, asking for and giving directions, talking about family, and talking about daily activities. In addition, this workshop will provide you with some knowledge of Deaf culture as well. Workshop meets Saturday 3/28, 4/4, 4/11 and 4/18 from 9:00-11:00AM. Age: 16+ Additional Information
